January, February and Summer…

Blimey, how I hate this saying. Yet nowadays I keep saying it and I seriously mean it this year.
I just got back to normal as I relaxed a bit after managing the Xmas fairs and it was already the mid of January and within a second February arrived too. Right now I’m getting ready for the Spring Fair in Allee Shopping Centre that goes on to the end of April. You see, Summer is just around the corner. Though I don’t exactly know what this year brings so I have certain plans too.

Before going into details I must tell you how luckily this year started for me. The 1st social event I went to was an auction amongst editors. Basically, this auction is a brilliant idea of the editors to collect money for charity by auctioning their Xmas presents and they have been doing so for 10 years. You can bid on the Xmas presents and there are external offers too, I also gave some of my products to the auction. Thus you can choose from a huge variety of things from theatre tickets to mini bar including even a dinner at Costes. I do recommend supporting the event and biding to everyone.
Here comes my story because I won on the raffle of the auction. Usually I dont win, therefore, I was over the moon when I got a bottle of good wine and a book about female winemakers.
To continue this lucky period of mine I intended opening that bottle when I would sit down to plan 2018. Then I realized I never did serious planning I rather make a to do list, write down ideas I want to make happen and hope for interesting, challenging work to turn up during the year. Until now this approach worked truly well. On the other hand, that wine must be opened so now I go and pour a glass for myself.

To be honest, I have lots of plans for 2018 – including 10-year old ones as well. As I’m desperate to paint again, consequently, there will be two painting series – their themes are still secret but for sure they are going to be great.
There is a new co-operation in the air so when it is granted I will let you know it.
Then if we talk about Summer of course we have Balaton in mind once again. It is a private plan but as it is the biggest festival season of the year there is a chance that I and my products might get involved in one. A very old dream of mine might come true, indeed.
So some new designs can be expected for sure and they will be available from the beginning of Summer, hopefully.
I plan to improve my webshop, however it is only two years old. Do not expect huge changes because I hate them. So my aim is to make shopping on my website/in my webshop more fun, as smooth as it is possible via customer friendly structure and clear, quick procedures. I keep following the latest improvements, attended several lectures, courses, workshops last year and I intend to do so this year as well.
Thanks to Herlitz cooperation, I would like to come out with some new designs for school start. So if you have school-age children get prepared for new products.
Then Xmas is granted as much as Xmas fairs are for Me! New designs for you for sure, they probably will be ready by the second half of the year.
I would like to renew my jewellery collection, already have lots of ideas and you will meet the working ones soon.
There will be a new bag design too and you can read further infos of it in a separate post later on.
Making new pictures/paintings is a returning item on my annual list just like now. Last but not least there must be something brand new and exciting challange for this year if I’m lucky enough, indeed. So fingers crossed for it and for me too!
As long as I work on the new designs of 2018, please follow me/my website/blog, surf on the webshop, choose from the products of the previous years or visit my showroom in Paloma. (1053 Budapest, Kossuth L. u. 14-16. Opening hours: Tues-Wednes-Thursday 11am-19pm)
