„Horvath Rozi” yet exists
I had just started fancying the kitchen as the little helper of my Mom when the „Horváth Rozi” spices began to sell and I was fond of scrutinizing their packages, while wondering above the potatoes to be pealed. It was exciting to imagine that there is this Rozi Horváth who, like an “Aunt Pepper” (i. e. a tale heroine) watering her plants in the backyard garden and when it is time she picks and dries them, let’s say spread on a bed-sheet in the living room and also she shreds them with her hands into the packages.
Party after party
It was like I would have organized a surprise party for myself. My Mom and my friend Fatima was baking for two days, I was cutting out small flags and hearts from my postcards, Zsuzsa decorated the shop with them, we set the table, folded the napkins and than we were excited all day long.
Let there be shop and there was
This story also began with my getting tired of. For instance, with that of that my acquaintances (but sometimes even my mom) were able to ask me even after my 10 year long illustrator past behind me that „what do you actually do, I mean really? And are you still painting a little?”
And the other cities
So the situation is that I am a kind of girl from the start to whom the Antal Szerb kind of female-type characterising that „the street fits well to her” truly applies. I like being in the street, showing myself, observing others, mingling or standing out, depending on my actual mood.
The Secret of the Forest of Rooster Mound
If you love doing something than you are fond of gazing what those people create who also love doing something similar very much. So I also often watch the foreign graphic design pages and after a while it occured to me that there are several artists who had interests only in animals. Visual animal lobby, I thought with silent despise. Than I started to worry, what if I evoke the same thoughts, I have this strong urban style that is perfectly suitable for depicting moments of life and atmospheres but is it sufficient for anything else?
Why girls?
I naturally envision individual ideas rather than concepts, indeed my other popular series was also induced by an outer influence. Back in 2008 I was invited to exhibit and fill a sizeable surface in the Mednyánszky Art Gallery during the Jewish Summer Festival. Although my existing paintings and illustrations proved to be sufficient for the surface, I definitely wanted to exhibit something new as well.
