I’m glad that it’s 2017. On one hand there is snooow! And -as part of it- the weather is very cold. When I don’t have to stand at Vörösmarty Square I don’t have problems with it. After several years I went to sleigh again, and I saw Balaton covered with ice the first time in my life. My son also likes this snowy winter. Basically my favourite season is summer but it feels good to be at the warm home, fuss round and be together. So at this time I make myself confortable on the couch with a cup of hot white coffee and write the summary of year 2016. This is just a one-year-old habit of mine, but I like it so much. At least I have a mark of my regular yearly summary thoughts. And you also see that I am not lazy neither in the middle of the year. It was a surprise for me too how many things happened in 2016.
The biggest phenomenon–obviously- was the launching of my own webshop! It took some time for us to completely finish it, but finally WE ARE OPENED! It cashed in my expectations, it worthed working on it so much. Then my second favourite is the new recipe booklet! I like it very much and as I see you like it too. So I’m planning the continuation –but let’s tell about this in a following post which is about my plans. Because I have them of course! Beside this many other things happened, just to mention some:
In February Valentine’s Day cuties.
In March the Hussar Girl, wich became (also) an alternative cockade (it will be mentioned too)
Then the Budapest Collection also broadened.
In May I came (went) with new bags –I made a Facebook game for them during the whole summer as a joy for many people.
In autumn the Christmas preparation started. Calendar printing, shipping, packing, construction of the stand, limited edition… anything you want. So I didn’t get bored for sure.
And –zap- the year is over! Nay! 3 weeks from the new year is over… Last year this time I was writing my 2016 plans…
As I’m writing an overview it worth checking how I’ve proceeded in the year compared to my plans. As I shared it with you I can’t deny anything. So I undertake everything, let’s start the LIST!
Webshop- done.
Paloma- done. It has been operating for 2 years!
More paintings- done. New pieces have born, yeeees! But I still have to improve the numbers.
More time with Milos- done. But this is never enough, so the plan for this year: much more time with Milos!
Chocolate cooperation- done. People in Brema can be happy with the amazing bonbons with my appearance design.
SECRET project- it was a failure, forget it!
New collection – it didn’t come true, but instead of it the Limited Edition Filofax born. We already have collections, more than one. Beside of it there are unique pieces for the „eccentrics”.
On the basis of this I can say that I’m super effective (silent shoulder clap) But if I want to be really honest this is a success of my „business woman” alterego. As a creative and constructive person I need more and different things to be really satisfied. Less racionality –more emotion. Inspiration, creation, reception… I want more, more, more of these in 2017! So -to keep it short- my plan for this year to let more space for my creativity, production and of course for my family. I think everybody will be happy with this! I am goning to write about the details of my plans int he next post.
